Biodiversity

We have developed a strong connection between our gardens and local wildlife.

Some of our gardens are now so species-rich that in 2022 we discovered two species so rare that they have never before been recorded in London!

OurWildflowers

Sweet marjoram (Oreganum vulgare)
Small scabious (Scabiosa columbaria)
Golden loosestrife (Lysimachia punctata)
Bloody cranesbill (Geranium sanguineum)
Meadow cranesbill (Geranium pratensis)
Musk mallow (Malva moschata) & Wild carrot (Daucus carota)
Red campion (Silene dioicia)
Red valerian (Centranthus ruber)
Purple toadflax (Linaria purpurea)
Oxeye daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare)

LoveBug

Our philosophy is that gardens are made up of the whole great circle of life.

Plants and animals are woven into a single rich tapestry. Bright butterflies and hover-flies fill the air, and beetles and arachnids work unseen among the flowers controlling pest species.

WildlifePonds

No wildlife garden can be complete without a pond, large or small!

We are experts in building totally indestructible large wildlife ponds using recycled materials.

But even in the smallest wildlife garden it is still possible to include a wonderful habitat for aquatic flora and fauna. One of our 'mini wildlife ponds ' can be installed in a couple of hours, and will establish a wildlife oasis for generations into the future.
